ACTIVITY RESPITE & OUTREACH SUPPORT

For VISTA, sports, recreation, and cultural activities are essential platforms for building and developing skills that facilitate young people’s transitions into everyday adult life.

 

We provide targeted mentoring, outreach support, and guidance to children and young people from a wide range of backgrounds who do not have access community , carers seeking respite working providing young people with bespoke support packages to suit their indivdualised needs .

  • SEND : Engaging working with a diverse carload  young people across with special educational needs and disabilities  providing support packages and programmes  designed to  promote inclusively and healthy active lifestyle 

 

  • Health and Wellbeing :Physical and Mental Health issues Addressing obesity among young people, 

 

  • NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) supporting and. Building young people into positive outcomes 

  • people

  • At Risk Offending /YOT: Mentoring , advices and guidance Sport and recreation structured activities provide young people with wide

 

Core Activities:

 

1. Sports and Recreation: Encouraging participation in various sports and recreational activities.

2. Inclusion: Promoting inclusivity within all activities.

3. personal Development: Fostering personal , social and life skills across various settings.

4. Education and Cultural Activities: Providing educational opportunities and cultural experiences.

Target Age Groups 

​

​5-16

 

For ages 5-16, the focus is on encouraging participation in sports, recreation, and positive activities while developing personal and social skills.

 

Ages 18-25

 

For ages 18-25, we continue to encourage participation in sports and recreation, along with life skills development and access to the Community Access Programme (CAP).

REFERRAL PROCESS

 

We accept referrals from:

  • Local Authority Social Services

  • Schools (Mainstream and SEN)

  • Targeted Youth Services 

  • Private (Parent/Carer referrals

1. Initial Contact: Reach out to us via phone or email to discuss your needs.

 

2. Referral Form:Complete a simple referral form https://form.123formbuilder.com/6270104/form

 

3. Initial Assessment: Our team will conduct an assessment (via home /school visit  to understand the specific needs of the young person.

4. Matching: We will match the young person with a member of our committed mentoring and outreach support  team best suited to child/young persons needs identified at assessment 

​

5.Get started ! Agree and finalise engagement and support start date
